An Archaeological Dig

An archaeological dig at the Glasney site reveals foundations of the south chapel, south transept and a possible chapter house, as well as a pillar base in the south choir aisle, an external cobbled area, graves and 14th century floor tiles, with designs including fish, birds and flowers.

Penryn Today

Penryn has in many ways, come full circle.
The building of Glasney College in 1265 put the town on the map.
Now with the Falmouth University and the University of Exeter, Penryn is thriving once again.
